“I cannot speak highly enough of Hayden and the team at Soho Financial! Throughout the process of refinancing my complicated portfolio, they demonstrated exceptional expertise and dedication. From our initial meeting, Hayden took the time to thoroughly understand my financial situation and objectives, and he consistently went above and beyond to identify the best refinancing options to suit my needs.

The responsiveness and communication from Hayden is unmatched. He kept me informed at every stage of the process, promptly addressing any questions or concerns I had. He made me feel confident and reassured throughout the entire journey.

FAQs

Deposits

In most cases, our clients aren’t using their own savings to fund the deposit for their new investment property. Many withdraw equity from one of their current properties to use as a deposit for a future purchase.

At Soho Financial, we can help you restructure your existing loans to facilitate the purchase of an additional property.

Servicing / Affordability

When purchasing an investment property, or when purchasing a property to live in with the intention of renting out your existing one, you can use future rental income to demonstrate affordability to the lender. This can be done by providing a rental quote from a licensed property manager or a valuation of the property from a licensed valuer.

At Soho Financial, we can assist with this process and even refer you to a licensed property manager.

Loan Types

The two primary loan types to consider are interest-only loans and principal and interest loans.

Interest-only loans allow you to pay only the interest for a set period, maximising cash flow in the short term. Principal and interest loans, on the other hand, require you to repay both the principal and the interest, which gradually reduces your overall debt.

At Soho Financial, we can help you choose a loan structure that aligns with your investment strategy, whether you’re looking to maximise cash flow or reduce debt over time.
